Masimo improves lives by translating complex technologies into simple experiences. Our goal was to extend Masimo’s connected innovation to the physical world.

Masimo’s design team wanted a prototype fast. We thought we were done and found out we were just getting started. We went back to the beginning and started over. We created an asymmetrical base to fit Masimo’s small and friendly Rad-97. We added holders for thermometry and bar code scanners. We added a moustache hook for cables and a tilt mechanism for better viewability. Masimo taught us about speed and passion and they reminded us to never settle for really good.

Masimo monitors more than 100 million patients around the world. Their pulse oximetry technology is standard of care at 17 of the top 20 hospitals. We like to think the carts helped.
